But, an arrogant Daksh dispels the entire community from his kingdom. In the courtroom, the sculptor community assembles to seek for an apology from Daksh. Sati, with her two maids, Jaya and Niyati set out in search lotuses. Khyati and Aaditi try to help Sati fulfill the arduous punishment given by Daksh.īut, Sati is adamant that she would face the difficulties coming in her way all alone. Sati's sister expresses her concern about the fulfillment of Sati's promise, to which she tells her that she would give her life if she fails to endure the punishment.
Laxmi is upset on Daksh for the elusive punishment he gave to Sati. Daksh punishes the sculpturer and his family for sculpting Shivling. He asks her to choose between obedience to her father and her devotion to Shiva. Daksh turns on Sati and blames her for the dishonour Shiva caused him. When Shiva reveals himself in all his glory, Prajapati Daksh mocks him and claims he is superior. Sati installs the shivaling, which angers King Prajapati Daksh. It leads her to the Rishis, who tell her that the Vishnu idol being created by her father is incomplete without a shivaling.
